Mellanox has an IP statement for OSFP MSA
Mellanox would like to bring attention to U.S. Application Serial No. 16/750,632, which may result in necessary claims. Mellanox hereby agrees that for any necessary claims of this patent application (and any other patents Mellanox owns) Mellanox will grant a license on reasonable and non-discriminatory terms to companies requesting such a license. Please note that Mellanox reserves the right to increase the cost for a licensee that refuses to take a license and forces Mellanox to use legal action in order to enforce Mellanox's rights.

Here is Molex's updated IPR statement for the 4.0 Specification:
Molex hereby provides notice that Molex believes it has several patents that include one or more necessary claims directed toward features of the OSFP connector system. These patents include US Pat. Nos. 7,303,438; 7,448,897; USRE43427; 9,882,297; 10,122,106; 10,403,993; and 10,551,580 as well as their respective foreign counterparts, directed toward the plug side. On the stacked receptacle side, the patents include US Pat. Nos. 7,862,347; 7,871,294 and 7,914,303, as well as their respective foreign counterparts. Molex hereby agrees that for any necessary claims of these patents (and any other patents Molex owns) Molex will grant a license on reasonable and non-discriminatory terms to companies requesting such a license.
